Troubleshooting
Problem - Tube not releasing from the tube maker
Solution - Make sure to put enough oil on the Tube Maker tool without it puddling.
Problem - Hole of tube not in the centre
Solution - When you put the brass rod on the clay in the tool, make sure to press it down into the clay. If it bounces back up, use the end of a paint brush or rubber tipped tool to press the rod down in the middle. If the clay is too dry, it may not bed in properly.
Problem - The two sections do not connect properly
Solution - The clay may be too dry so make sure to use a little water before closing the tool. Also, press the tool closed firmly to connect the two snakes of clay. Make sure to turn the tube and put back in the tool and press it closed again. You can do this several times. You can also add more clay where there are gaps and close the tool again.
